MVC with Entrapment

Last night at approximately 22:15, members staffing the station were alerted by a Good Samaritan that there was an accident up the road at the Deepwater Diner involving a car under a tractor trailer. Rescue Engine 7 quickly responded with 4 just as Carneys Point Fire Dept and Rescue Squad Inc were being alerted to the call. Crews from Station 7, 11, and 5 worked diligently to free the car and then remove the driver to be turned over to Cooper 1 medevac where the patient was transported to the trauma center at Christiana Hospital. Quick response by all crews and a clear goal on scene made a difficult rescue be made seamlessly.
