At 17:50, Station 7 was dispatched to a working building fire on Brandriff Avenue. Station 5 was out on a brush fire call and was first due. Engine 5 laid a supply line from Broadway into the scene. Crews found heavy fire in a detached garage and an auto in the driveway with exposure issues. Exposure A, B and C were houses, and D was a storage shed. The following units were on scene: 7-2, 7-6, 5-1, 5-6, 5-8, and 11-9. Two lines were in service. A one gallon container of solvent exploded during suppression activities.
