Commercial Vehicle Fire - NJTP SB MM 1.7

On 08-14-12 Station 11, Station 7, and Squad 4 were dispatched to the NJTP Southbound for a Commercial Vehicle Fire at 1034 Hrs. Rescue 7 arrived on location at 1044 Hrs to find a Tractor Trailer with a working fire in the cab area. A 150' bumper line was used to attack the fire. Tender 3 was requested by command to ensure sufficient water supply. Engine 7 and Engine 11 arrived shortly after for additional water. Rescue 11 and Tender 3 staged off the turnpike. Turnpike Command (7-10A J. Treece) placed the situation under control at 1052 Hrs with all units clearing the scene at 1118 Hrs. Units On Scene: 7-9, 7-2, 11-3, 4-8, & NJ State Police. Units In Staging: 11-9 & Tender 3-5.
