At 0730 Hrs Salem County 9-1-1 Center dispatched Station 7 and Squad 5 to Route 295 Eastbound in the area of Exit 1B for an automobile fire. Rescue/Engine 7-9 responded with a crew of 5 at 0734 hrs. 7-9 arrived at 0735 hrs with 7-10A (Deputy J. Treece) establishing Rt. 295 Command and confirming the engine compartment fully involved. 7-9's crew made a quick knock down of the fire and Engine 7-2 arrived at 0737 with a crew of 4 to assist. Command placed the situation under control at 0742. All units were clear the scene by 0750. Units On Scene: 7-9, 7-2, 5-8, DRBA Police, and Pennsville PD.
