Following the training on ropes and knots on Oct 20th 2010, Deepwater firefighters reviewed the proper techniques on how to safely lower a person from a high building. Fire fighters were taught how to properly set up equipment, package the patient, and lower them to the ground multiple ways. Fire fighters were also taught how to repel off the roof and a stairwell, in the case of an emergency.
