At 0400 hours Station 5, Sataion 7, Marine 6, Squad 5, and The Salem County Water Rescue Team were dispatched to the East Pittsfield St Boat Ramp for the Water Rescue Assignment. The 911 Center advised responding units of 2 subjects stuck on a boat in the mud reportedly 1 mile south of the boat ramp. Command requested DSP Trooper 4 from NCC Delaware to aid in locating the boaters and confirm their status. Marine 5, Marine 11 and 2 Members of the Salem County Water Rescue Team made contact with the subjects. Crews were able to get the boat pushed back into the water and they were able to make it under there own power back to the boat ramp. Members assisted the subjects getting their boat back on the trailer and all units returned back to service at 0645 hours.
