Yesterday evening and this morning, our members were joined by members from the Carneys Point Fire Dept and Rescue Squad for a water rescue training put on by Brent Hitchner and Danny Bestwick from the Salem County Swiftwater Rescue Team. Members went through drills using throwbags, swimming and retrieving victims from the water. With the vast amount of waterways and potential for these types of calls increasing, we hope to be better prepared for the public's safety.
