At roughly 0410 hours Station 14 and 6-2 were dispatched to the area of Route 540 and Bypass road for an MVC with the vehicle overturned. Life Support 5 was on scene within seconds and reported one vehicle into a tree, overturned, with heavy entrapment. At 0425 Rescue 7 was added onto the call. Upon our arrival at 0435 we assisted crews with a very extensive and delicate extrication. The passenger side doors were cut off and the A, B posts were cut. This allowed crews to spread the roof from the car which allowed EMS personnel to remove the patient. All crews did an excellent job overcoming the very difficult extrication.
