Pennsville Township, NJ - Representatives from DuPont Chambers Works
recently donated five self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) to the
Deepwater Fire Company during a presentation at the fire house in
Deepwater, NJ.
Chambers Works Plant Manager Bland Dickey presented the SCBAs to Deepwater
Fire Company Chief Joe Hogan, and Company President Matt Chase. “We are
extremely thankful for DuPont’s support of our community fire fighting
needs,” said Hogan.
Chase added, “The new equipment is important for our team. It protects our
firefighters, and enables us to execute critical tasks during an emergency,
which helps save lives.”
SCBAs are worn by rescue workers, firefighters, and others to provide
breathable air in emergency situations.
Among those attending the summer afternoon presentation were Pennsville
Township Mayor Richard Barnhart and Pennsville Township Committeeman Steve
Landis. “We appreciate DuPont’s continued support of our community,” said
Barnhart.
“The Deepwater Fire Company and its volunteers proudly continue to serve
their community, just as they have for more than 80 years and we are
pleased to support their important community work,” concluded Dickey.
