Today at 1648 hours Engine 7 was alerted to the area of S. Smith Ave and E. Main St. for a working structure fire. Engine 7 went enroute with 6 on the initial alarm until command had requested the second 10 minutes into the incident which then brought Tower 7 into the fire scene. The engine and tower worked to extinguish the fire and assisted in the extensive overhaul before returning to station. Crews operated for well over two hours to bring the fire under control.
