New firefighters from Deepwater and Pennsville Fire Departments were given recognition on Thursday December 16th by the Pennsville Township committee. The committee passed a special resolution commending these men on their recent accomplishments, completing the 170 hour Firefighter one course at the fire academy. Eight firefighters were recognized including six from Deepwater Fire Department and two from Pennsville Fire Department.
