Commercial Vehicle Fire DMB

At 0049, the Deepwater Fire Department was alerted to assist with a commercial vehicle fire on the westbound span of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Engine 7 and Rescue 7 along with NCC Rescue 20 arrived on scene to a fire located at the rear of a tractor trailer. Crews quickly extinguished the fire which originated from the trailer brakes with extension into the trailer along with some of the boxes inside the door. Units were on scene for approximately 30 minutes before turning the scene over to DRBA police.
