Dwelling Fire - 624 Soders Road, Carney's Point Twp.

On 1/2/2013 stations 11, 4, 7 and 5 were alerted to 624 Soders rd for a reported house on fire at 0929 hrs. 11-10C went on scene with smoke showing from an attached garage and fire on the C side of the structure. Engine 7-2 arrived on scene at 0934 and laid a supply line and stretched an attack line through the front door. Engine 11-2 arrived at 0935 and quickly deployed a second line to the rear of the house. Ladder 5-6 arrived at the same time as 11-2 and laddered the structure and cut a roof vent hole in the garage to assist the engine crews. Searches proved negative and the fire was quickly extinguished. Station 3 assisted in covering Station 7 and RIC team 12 was also alerted on the working dispatch. All crews did an excellent job and it was a smooth operation. Units on scene: 11-2, 11-9, 11-8, 7-2, 5-6, 5-7, 4-1, 4-8.
