Brush Fire - Wingate and Heron Ave

On the afternoon of June 2nd, dispatch alerted Station 7 to a brush fire in the area of Wingate Drive. Asst. Chief G. Winfield arrived on scene and took command. Due to high winds, he added additional brush trucks from around the county. The fire was under control within a few hours.
