Junk Yard Fire - 218 Lighthouse Road, Pennsville

At 1518 hrs, Station 7 was added to an alarm that was originally dispatched for Station 5 and Engine 6-3 as a vehicle fire in a junk yard. Station 7 responded with 7-9, 7-2, and the 7-7A. Due to hydrant issues in the remote area of town,Tenders 14-5 and 15-5 where added to the alarm. 5 command (Deputy Chief C. Hagan) advised 7-9 to pull into the junk yard with 5-6 and that their crew would be going to work. Multiple vehicles and a panel van were heavily involved upon arrival. Crews did an excellent job of safely extinguishing the blaze.
